Sunshine State TESOL Journal

The Sunshine State TESOL Journal is an international, refereed journal published annually by the Sunshine State Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, Inc. The main purpose of the Journal is to provide a forum for TESOL professionals to share ideas and research on second language teaching and learning. The Journal welcomes submissions of manuscripts based on research projects, classroom practices, conference presentations, and other professional activities of substance and interest to TESOL professionals.

Note from the Editor

In 2007, the Journal will be transitioning from being a paper, paginated local journal to an electronic journal without pagination. First and foremost, this will make the Sunshine State TESOL Journal an international, peer-reviewed journal accessible worldwide. In addition, this will allow authors to embed links within their manuscripts, something which is impossible in a paper-based  journal or archived manuscript in pdf format. It will also allow the editing and publishing of the Journal to proceed more quickly without concern for pagination. Information on the Internet is increasingly being organized in linked html texts without pagination and the Journal is adapting itself to this organizational style. The Journal will be using a free software from the Mozilla Foundation called SeaMonkey 1.1.1 which contains the web page building program Composer, formerly known as Netscape Composer. The Journal will use this program because it is free, easy to use, and readily downloadable worldwide for manuscript writers and reviewers. RM
